I'd just like to be able to not muck about with Windows, and as it won't run on the Pro. If not, I'll just do whatever the latest Bootcamp process is, and wait for the restart period. But what I want to know is if Parallels can be set up to run off that drive, or do you have to do a fresh instal? I appear to have a few options to continue to have Windows. In an ideal world, I want to keep that exact drive and continue to run it on the new M1 Mini. But I have a question my Google-fu is too weak to answer.Īt present because it has the 4 internal drive bays, I have Windows 10 running off one of them on the Pro. As it was "about time" I updated my Mac Pro 3,1 I have bought an M1 Mac Mini, with the 512gb storage and 8gb ram.
